Tiered Balance Information -  Interest is tiered to pay a higher rate on higher balances. Tier 1 interest is paid on balances of $19,999.99 and below. Tier 2 interest is paid on balances between $20,000.00 and $49,999.99. Tier 3 interest is paid on balances between $50,000.00 and $99,999.99. Tier 4 interest is paid on balances between $100,000.00 and over.
