First Community State Bank is excited to announce an enhancement to our Home Banking service. You can now view current day activity in the account history section. These items are displayed with the word “memo” in the “Date” field.

Memo posted items have been presented to the bank for payment on the current business day. They include transactions at our teller lines, ATM withdrawals, debit card purchases, and transfers made through Home Banking or our Toll Free Account Information Line.

While, “Memo” items are not reflected in your “Current Balance”, they are included in your “Available Balance” amount.

Please note: Debit card transactions place a “hold” on the funds in your account. The hold amount may not always match your purchase total. For example, many gas stations place a hold on your funds in the amount of $1.00 rather than for your total purchase price.
